The following radio and television stations will be used to communicate with the public concerning school delays, cancellations, and early dismissals. School delays will not be less than two hours in order to permit a safer operation.
Delay of School
If conditions warrant a delayed opening of school, the following procedure will be used:
1. All buses will run 2 hours later than usual.
2. Classes in all schools will start 2 hours later than usual.
3. Classes at all schools will dismiss at the usual time.
4. Announcements on the radio and television stations will be made by 6:00am, provided the stations can be contacted.
5. If cancellation becomes necessary after the delay, announcements will be made by 7:30am.
Cancellation of School
If it is necessary to cancel school, announcements will be made before 6:00am.
